Seattle, WA, January 1, 2008-- Larry Haight Residential Roofing Co., Inc. of Redmond, Washington, moves into its seventh year as a contributor and supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has given hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions. From its humble beginnings with one boy’s wish to be a police officer, the foundation has evolved into an organization that grants a child’s wish in the United States every 41 minutes.
Make-A-Wish granted a record 12,527 wishes in 2005, thanks to the support of companies like Larry Haight Roofing. That’s nearly 10 percent more than the previous year. The foundation says each volunteer and staff member is determined to share the power of a wish® with even more children in the New Year.
"Larry Haight Roofing has supported the Make-A-Wish foundation since 2001," said Larry Haight, founder and president of Larry Haight Roofing. "It’s really a good feeling and wonderful life-affirming experience to help grant a wish."
